Meet Donna

Donna earned her Ph.D. in Rhetoric in 2008. She has Masters degrees in English, History, and Women's Studies. Prior to joining the academy, she worked as an editor and freelance writer for several regional publications. She has a 10-year corporate background in sales, advertising, and market research. She specializes in non-profit management and grant writing.

Today, her academic research and writing focuses on higher education, leadership, and professional development. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Pueblo Symphony, the Pueblo Zoological Association, and the Parkview Hospital Foundation. She is an active member of the Junior League of Pueblo.

Today, when she's not working as a tenured professor or the Executive Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning (established with a $2.7 million Department of Education grant she authored) for Colorado State University-Pueblo, she can be found writing scripts, producing shows, consulting with clients, and serving her community.
