Non-Profit Work
For the past four years, we have filmed, edited, and produced a national television show for multi-million non-profit, National Little Britches Rodeo Association. This contract includes social media management and fundraising, work with regional and national sponsors, and constant and strategic planning with member of the organization's Board of Directors. Our initial social media marketing of this non-profit yielded more than 100,000 new and unique Facebook "likes" and active followers (up from a 2012 high of only 800). Additionally, as the NLBRA contracted production team, we also write, film, and produce an "On the Road" edition of the TV show -- in which we travel to rural areas in order to showcase and fundraise these unique "gems" of the organization. This work has allowed us to work closely wth local sponsors and showcase all that rural communities and counties have to offer the non-profit and fundraising arena.
Hodge Productions has conducted staff development and board workshops for the Boys and Girls Club of Pueblo County (serving a community of over 200,000). In addition, as a cornerstone to our work with the BGCPC, we created a marketing campaign, paid for and supported entirely by sponsors, which provided the organization with 120 (monthly) 30 second radio ads, an OpEd and two advertisements in the Pueblo Chieftain, with a circulation of 180,000. This campaign resulted in both an individual giving and corporate giving increase of 62% from 2014 to 2015 (campaign amounts, in 1 year, of over $60,000 raised for zero cost to foundation). This campaign was recently nominated for a Marketing and Communication Award from Boys and Girls of America.
This past year, we partnered with the State of Colorado's "History Colorado" foundation in order to develop a fundraising campaign for their after-school programs. This promotional and fundraising video serves as the model for the state's museum fundraising efforts.
We are proud to have worked closely with Centura Health, St Mary Corwin Foundation, in 2011, in order to create a fundraising video for a successful campaign for the new Breast Center of Excellence (over $1 million raised over two years).
Finally, in 2015, we were pleased to have authored a $2.7 million grant, establishing a Center for Teaching and Learning at CSU-Pueblo, through the Department of Education's Hispanic Serving Institution, Title V Grants.
